A Super Basement for the Big Game

Written by Admin | Jan. 22, 2019

In January, we all start out with good intentions of New Year’s resolutions and getting organized, but it’s not long before thoughts may turn, instead, to planning Super Bowl parties!

When was the last time you were able to host a crowd for the big game? If you don’t have a finished basement, you’re missing out on the perfect place to enjoy the game with a super-sized flat screen, comfy seating, a wet bar with a sink and fridge, and room to put out a spread of tasty snacks and drinks.

Finished Basement by MBRG: This Sports Fan’s Dream Basement features 3 large-screen TV’s and lots of comfy seating in the main open area.

A finished basement is almost always the lowest cost living space you can add to your home. In fact, because it’s space you already have, finishing it is much more economical than building an addition.

So, Where to Begin?

Not that we want to brag, but we kind of think of ourselves as the champs of basement remodeling. We’ve helped many homeowners visualize the possibilities of their basements and then brought their dreams to gorgeous reality.

Here are photos of our latest beautiful finished basement project to inspire you!

There are separate zones for people to watch the game or just chat with drinks and snacks.

This super finished basement features a large, comfortable space for the whole gang to enjoy the game.

The crescent-shaped custom wet bar has its own TV so no one misses a minute of the game.

The finished basement’s custom wet bar has plenty of seating, a quartz and wood countertop, wine fridge, beer fridge, icemaker, and dishwasher.

The Post-Game Fun Continues

After the party’s over, you still have a great place for all kinds of other family activities. It’s a safe play space for your kids, from toddlers to teens. If you are tired of going to the gym in the rain or snow, think about turning one area of your finished basement into an exercise and weight room.

The basement playroom includes an air hockey table, TV, sofas and a cozy play area under the stairs.

The home gym in this remodeled basement has a special floor, a mirrored wall, TV, and a variety of exercise equipment.

Be the “host with the most” by adding a bedroom and full bath so overnight guests don’t have to sleep on an inflatable bed or bump the kids out of their rooms. Everyone will enjoy the extra privacy!

There’s a guest room and a full bathroom for overnight guests, in addition to a half bath.
