Virginia Living Magazine Article “From Cellar to Stellar” Features MBRG Basement Project
Metro is pleased to announce that two photos of one of our finished basements, and comments made by our company president George Kall, are featured in an article in Virginia Living Magazine. The article’s title is “From Cellar to Stellar” and describes how “design professionals elevate yesterday’s basements to today’s next-level living spaces.”

George is quoted in the second and third paragraphs of the article. He explains how homeowners today use their finished basements as an “escape” from the rest of the home, like a retreat or a getaway. Photos of the Metro basement featured in the online article are photos 2 and 3 in the lightbox gallery containing 3 photos at the top of the article. The Metro finished basement photos in the article are from the project called “Reimagined Finished Basement with Creative Lab” which is located in Northern Virginia.
The glass-enclosed “Creative Lab”
The basement’s glass-enclosed “Creative Lab” is designed for the homeowners’ children to develop their imaginations with creative activities. The children get to have their own play space, all the while being easily supervised from outside of the lab.
