This example shows a homeowner’s new island that has a marble countertop with waterfall sides, built-in dishwasher, trash pull-outs and necessary storage. The problem? No space to install the electrical outlets required by codes. See Prévo’s solution below.
Just flip down the panel to reveal the required outlets. The trend in contemporary kitchens where everything in the space is spare and minimal doesn’t always work for accommodating the items required for modern living.
